Performance

Each gasoline-powered model comes standard with a 3.5L V6 engine that's equipped with Variable Valve Timing-intelligent Wide and D-4S direct injection. When paired with the Direct Shift 8-speed transmission, the 2019 Avalon delivers 301 hp with better fuel economy. Every model of the 2019 Avalon also comes standard with variable drive modes, which all include Eco, Normal, and Sport, but certain trim levels also offer a fourth drive mode, Sport+. XLE - With a starting MSRP of $35,500, the XLE is the most basic trim level available for the 2019 Avalon. It comes standard with 17-in. silver-painted alloy wheels, Entune™ 3.0 Audio Plus which includes eight speakers, a 9-in. Touch-screen, and hands-free phone capability and music streaming, as well as the option to add the moonroof package, which includes a power tilt/slide moonroof with sliding sunshade, and Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging.
Hybrid XLE - With a starting MSRP of $36,500, the Hybrid XLE comes with all the features of the XLE, but with better fuel economy. Instead of the dual exhaust of the XLE, however, it comes with a single hidden exhaust as well as an upgraded climate control system that includes a humidity sensor.
XSE - With a starting MSRP of $38,000, the XSE is a slightly higher-end trim level than the XLE, it comes standard with 19-in. Black-painted machined-finish alloy wheels, paddle shifters on the steering wheel, Ultrasuede® heated front seats, Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging, and the option to add Engine Sound Enhancement with Active Noise Control, allowing you to hear the noise of your engine amplified through your car speakers.
Hybrid XSE - With a starting MSRP of $39,000, the Hybrid version of the XSE has many of the same features as the XSE, although it has smaller wheels, 18-in. dark-gray-painted alloy ones, and like the Hybrid XLE it has the single hidden exhaust, instead of the dual exhaust with quad chrome tips that the XSE trim features.
Touring -  With a starting MSRP of $42,200, the Touring is one of the most premium trim levels available for the 2019 Avalon. It features the same 19-in. wheels as the XSE, has heated and ventilated Ultrasuede® front seats, heated rear seats, and a four-mode switch, featuring ECO mode, Normal/Custom mode, Sport mode, and Sport+ mode. The audio system gets a major upgrade from lower trim levels with Entune™ 3.0 Premium Audio with 14 speakers, subwoofer and amplifier, as well as an upgrade to the driving experience in general with a 10-in. color Head-Up Display with customizable settings.
Limited - With a starting MSRP of $41,800, the Limited is the other of the most premium trim levels of the 2019 Avalon, although the wheels are slightly smaller than the Touring, the Limited comes standard with 18-in. SuperChrome alloy wheels. Like the Touring, the outside mirrors, driver's seat, and heated premium leather steering wheel all have memory function, so you can set their desired position once and not have to worry about setting them again, if someone else drives your vehicle. It also has genuine wood interior trim, for a high-end, luxury feel without a high-end price.
Hybrid Limited - With a starting MSRP of $42,800, the Hybrid version of the Limited combines the features of the other Avalon hybrids with the luxury of the Limited model, featuring active grille shutters, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, driving mode switch featuring four modes, and genuine wood interior trim, the Hybrid Limited is designed to drive like a luxury vehicle, while getting excellent fuel mileage.
