Blue 2019 Prius Hybrid in the snowy mountains

2019 Toyota Prius Hybrid

You just can't talk about hybrid vehicles without talking about the one that showed just how viable hybrids can be: the Toyota Prius - and it still provides class-leading efficiency. New for the 2019 Prius is the available AWD-e system. The new electronic all-wheel-drive system is designed to expand just how far your Prius can take you. The Prius AWD-e uses an independent electric, magnet-less rear motor - a Toyota first - to power the rear wheels from 0 to 6 mph, then when needed, up to 43 mph, increasing your fuel economy. The Prius Hybrid AWD-e has an estimated MPG of 52 city and 48 highway.

The engine isn't the only change for the 2019 Prius Hybrid. You'll see distinct

changes in the exterior an interior design of the sedan. Outside there's a new front bumper and headlamp/taillamp design, as well as new fog lamps and LED accent lamp. The interior upgrades include piano black accents, additional USB ports, a wireless Qi charging tray, and available heated steering wheel.

Another change for the 2019 Prius Hybrid is the naming convention for the trim levels. They will be the familiar Toyota grade labels such as L Eco, XLE, and Limited and the trims will also be available in two new colors: Supersonic Red and Electric Storm Blue. The AWD-e model will be offered in LE and XLE grades and will debut a new two-tone 15-inch alloy wheel.

With so many upgrades to this new model it's clear to us at Johnstons Toyota why the Prius remains one of the leading class choices for a Hybrid vehicle.

2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid

The newly redesigned RAV4 Hybrid is back and better than ever - now available with 41 MPG highway and 37 MPG city. It's bringing more sport and more utility back into the class, while upgrading the handling, comfort, fuel efficiency, and performance - Toyota left no stone unturned for this tough new look on the RAV4 that drivers all around Monroe love.

A new Dynamic Force 2.5L engine, partnered with the Toyota Hybrid System Powertrain means that this new RAV4 delivers 219 combined HP, making the fastest RAV4 model the Hybrid. In addition to power comes style. SofTex-trimmed seats with sporty blue stitching and fabric inserts make the interior
