Those living in New Hampton, Middletown, and beyond realize just how inefficient some vehicles can be. The all-new 2019 Toyota RAV4 has changed all of that. With AWD available in 3 different modes, Toyota has once again taken a lead in offering consumers more choices.

There are several different trim levels to chose from, with technology and safety being the key features in all of them. They all feature a 4 cylinder 2.5 liter engine putting out over 200 HP and 184 ft-lb of torque. All of these models use an eight speed automatic transmission

What are the performance features of the 2019 RAV4 and RAV4 Hybrid?

Goshen and Monroe residents will be interested to know about the new drive train options on the RAV4. The LE and XLE packages offer the upgrade from FWD to the typical AWD system. The Adventure and Limited uses a torque vectoring system, which can disconnect the wheel that is spinning and add additional power to ones that have traction. If a hybrid model is purchased, the electric motors power all 4 wheels. The hybrid model also uses the 2.5 liter gas engine which sends power to the electric motors which drive the RAV4. It also puts out 16 more HP than using the gasoline version. The 2019 RAV4 Hybrid uses a CVT to send power to the wheels giving it better fuel economy than the standard gasoline engine. It has an average of 39 MPG for city and highway combined. The price is also comparable to the gasoline powered models.

What are the Safety Features of the 2019 Toyota RAV4?

Safety is first and foremost with Toyota, and it's demonstrated in all their vehicles. The residents of New Hampton will appreciate the added standard safety features built into all RAV4 models. Multiple airbags and forward collision detection will help keep the driver and passengers safe. Automatic lights which switch between low and high beams as needed are part of the standard equipment. Traction and stability control as well as disc brakes all around are also included. Of course, Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 comes standard on all trim levels and includes pedestrian detection, lane departure alert and assist, road edge detection, and road sign assist.
